The ABCs of Nutrition
A
Most supplements containing Vitamin A are composed of vegetable A, such
as in carrots or other orange vegetables. But, our supplements are usually
missing the Vitamin A from beef fats or lipids. This Vitamin A is
responsible for eye problems and originally called, ‘retinol’. This vitamin
is a major factor in forming the photosensitive pigments in the eye and is
vital to adjustment of light sensitivity. Vitamin A is responsible for health
of epithelial tissue, health and maintenance of the mucous membrane,
resistance to infections and inflammation,
Standard Process’ Cataplex A contains both sources of Vitamin A.
